Help for deaf adults.

چکیده
Microphone If more than slight, deafness holds serious implications for the patient's family, social, and working life. Difficulties with a job may be exacerbated by the need to use a telephone. These generate financial worries, which, together with the problems of sharing activities such as watching television or going to the theatre, create tensions in the home. The deaf patient becomes isolated and threatened and, not surprisingly, depressed. A major source of help is to provide a hearing aid.
